Wooden Nickel Giveaway!
Wooden Nickel Drink Token Giveaway Rules:
The Mustang Tailgaters will be handing out up to $500 worth of free drink tokens each home game. All tailgaters present and set up starting 30 minutes after SMSU Football authorized tailgating starts or 9 AM whichever is later. Each token is worth one free soda pop or alcoholic beverage (see the Wooden Nickel for more information).
For a chance to win your Wooden Nickels, your tailgate needs to include at least two of the things below:
- Designated space where people can gather and converse. Bring a chair or two to encourage people to stick around!
- Easy yard games that all ages can enjoy like corn hole, ladder toss, ring toss, and Giant Connect 4. Easy to transport, easy to play.
- Food/Drinks: Buy it from the vendors or bring your own. Regardless, food and drinks make a tailgate.
- Decorations help liven up the mood and make it fun! Check out Pinterest and remember to keep it simple!
- TVs and/or speakers to broadcast what you're watching or listening to! There's nothing wrong with watching College Gameday, Big Noon Kickoff, or blasting some jams to hype up the crowd!
Wooden Nickels will be distributed by volunteers visiting tailgates. Any leftover wooden nickels will be distributed to fans entering the Stadium approximately 30 minutes before kickoff.
